In a solemn ceremony held at 10:30 AM today, employees of the District Court Complex, Srinagar, gathered to pay heartfelt tribute to the late Mr. Prabhat Singh, Chief Administrative Officer of Ramban, who tragically lost his life in a road accident on May 14, 2025.
The gathering, marked by heavy hearts and profound sorrow, began with the observance of two minutes of silence in memory and honour of the departed officer. Mr. Singh’s untimely demise has left a deep void within the judicial fraternity of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the condolence meeting, colleagues and staff members expressed their deepest sympathies to the grieving family. Recalling Mr. Singh’s unwavering dedication and invaluable service to the judicial administration, the staff praised his commitment and integrity, which earned him immense respect across the department.
“His sudden passing is not only a great loss to the judiciary but also to everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him,” said Rubina Akhter, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), who led the ceremony. She, along with all staff members of the District Court Complex Srinagar, extended their sincere condolences to the bereaved family, relatives, and colleagues of Shri Prabhat Singh.
The judiciary stands united in mourning his loss and praying for strength for his loved ones to bear this irreplaceable grief.
