G20 Kashmir: Actor Ram Charan shakes leg with Korean Ambassador on ‘Naatu Naatu’

The audience at the side event on ‘Film Tourism for Economic Growth and Cultural Preservation’ during the third Tourism Working Group Meeting at SKICC, Srinagar on Monday clapped to the skies when acclaimed film actor, producer, and entrepreneur, K. Ram Charan dance on Oscar-winning song ‘Naatu Naatu’ along with Korean Ambassador to India Jae Bok Chang.

Earlier, after attending the Golden Globes 2023 to Oscars 2023, Ram Charan on May 22 arrived in Srinagar to participate as Guest of Honor in the 3rd G20 Working Group meeting.

Addressing the event, Ram Charan said that Kashmir is the best place in India to shoot films, and visiting the valley is a real feeling for him. He said that Kashmir is an untapped destination. He said I am a second-generation actor. My father has shot extensively in Kashmir.

Ram is the son of cinema veteran Chiranjeevi. He said I shot in this auditorium in 2016. So visiting Kashmir feels like an achievement for me.

“Kashmir is that kind of a place, I have been coming here since 1986, my father shot extensively here in Gulmarg and Sonamarg. I’ve shot in this auditorium in 2016. This place has something magical, it is such a surreal feeling coming to Kashmir, it draws the attention of everyone,” The RRR actor Ram Charan said.

The actor hit global headlines when ‘RRR’ won the Oscar this year for the best original song ‘Naatu Naatu’ that featured them. The film also bagged the Golden Globe award.

His fans, who hail him as a global star, were delighted when the actor displayed his dancing prowess on the G20 stage. The actor danced to ‘Naatu Naatu’ from his movie ‘RRR’.
