Srinagar, Jan 14 (Only Kashmir): The Home Ministry of India has kept no records of the meeting held on 24th June 2021 at New Delhi presided none other than by Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi.

A well-known RTI activist Naveed Bukhtiyar filed an RTI on All-Party Meet. Shockingly the Home Ministry has denied giving any information saying that they do not have any records available here.

“The information sought in the application is not held by the undersigned CPIO. In this regard, it is informed that under the provisions of the RTI Act, 2005, only such information can be supplied that is available in the records of the public authority and is held by or under the control of the CPIO, reads the RTI reply.

The RTI applications bearing Registration No. MHOME/R/T/21/02783 dated 22/12/2021 and MHOME/R/T/21/02792 dated 23.12.2021-seeking details related to minutes the all-party meeting was earlier transferred to Home Department from Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).

Naveed Bukhtiyar said that ” It is a stunning period for all of us that possessing this big and crucial meet of All Parties since the abrogation of Article 370/35A. It should have existed on records as everyone was staring at this meeting, as it was the huge growth in Kashmiri politics since Aug 5″. “I am myself shocked to hear that they don’t have any records about the meeting”, he added.

Pertinently, the All-Party Meet (APM) convened by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on June 24 was the most important development of the 2021. The meeting was crucial, as it was a major attempt by the New Delhi to reach out to J&K’s Pro-Indian political parties, particularly the constituents of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD), after its harsh arm-twisting methods, post-August 5, 2019 developments.

Apart from the prominent Pro-Indian leaders Home Minister of India Amit Shah, Minister of State in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh and the Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha also attended the meeting.

A major highlight of the meeting was the Prime Minister’s assertion to remove “Dilli Ki Doori” and “Dil Ki Doori”
