Netizens praise SMC Commissioner Gazanfar Ali for carrying out timely disinfection drive in Khanyar

Srinagar, (KNB) March 20: Netizens on Social networking sites are all praise for the efforts of Srinagar Municipal Corporation for launching intensive disinfection campaign across Srinagar.
Irfan Habib, a Facebook user wrote, “SMC men are making sure our city is disinfected. Hats off to SMC Commissioner for leading from the front,” he said.
The Corona Virus disease which is now a global Pandemic is wreaking havoc in all the countries of the world. No continent or country seems to be immune from the threat of the CoronaVirus.
As in the Country the death count has reached four with about 250 cases, and also few days back a Corona Virus case detected in Kashmir of a lady with travel history the challenges have turned multifold.
The Srinagar Municipal Corporation or the SMC Department has assumed tremendous significance in these tough times to keep city clean.
The SMC Commissioner Gazanfar Ali is faced with tough challenge and he is leading from the front to keep the city clean and safe from major outbreak of the Corona Virus, an top official in administration who is dealing with Corono Virus threat in Kashmir said.
He added that ensuring proper Cleanness, Sanitation Drive in the Srinagar City is one of the main efforts besides ensuring proper Fumigation of vulnerable sites is the focus of combating the Coronovirus threat in which SMC Commissioner is making sure everything happens according to the plan.
Citing the example of recent efforts of SMC in sending a special squad for fugumentation of Khanyar locality within no time after a positive case was detected there.
